About
Meghan Adkins

Hi there!
I’m Meghan, the founder of Autonomi Coaching.
My personal experience in the journey toward personal freedom began at a young age with
a medical mystery that wreaked havoc on my body for over 40 years.
The resulting depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and agoraphobia had me battling a crippling
hopelessness on my own. But, it also challenged me to seek out the most effective strategies
for overcoming the debilitating effects of physical, mental and emotional stressors. Thankfully, I
eventually got the help I needed, solved the riddle of my illness with new skills and viewpoints,
and had an opportunity to start again.
Now fully recovered and living the most gratifying life I could ever have imagined,
I offer those tools to you.
In my experience, autonomy means the ability to make your own decisions and govern yourself
without undue influence or control from external forces. It reflects independence, self-direction,
and the capacity to take responsibility for one's actions.
In a personal or philosophical sense, autonomy involves being true to your own values and beliefs
while exercising agency over your choices and life path. It’s about owning your journey and having
the freedom to chart your course, even in the face of societal, cultural, or personal pressures.
In the context of coaching, autonomy often refers to helping individuals recognize and overcome barriers to their independence—whether those barriers are internal (limiting beliefs, fears) or external (cultural expectations, past experiences)—so they can live intentionally and authentically.
I'm interested in working with anyone experiencing challenges of all sorts, including sex, relationship
and dating issues, physical and mental health issues, autoimmune dysfunction, and communication breakdowns. I especially enjoy working with those women who find themselves on a journey that requires reconceptualizing their entire experience of what it means to be a woman. The time is now!
